The 2010 Bridal and Quince Show will be held at the Signature Grand on January 26th from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. This esteemed event has earned a reputation as a truly lavish experience that goes above and beyond standard wedding trade shows. Brides-to-be can meet with the area’s finest floral designers, musicians, DJs, photographers, limousine services, stationery artists, and much more. They’ll also have the chance to preview the season’s most beautiful designer wedding gowns and formal attire. For the ultimate in gourmet refreshment, attendees can sample delicious menu items from elaborate buffet stations and enjoy fine champagne or cocktails from the open bars.

The Signature Grand was co-founded in the 1990s by Arlene Pecora, who currently serves as sales executive and administrator of the facility. Pecora was one of the recipients of the Outstanding Women Honorees Award at the 13th Women of Vision Luncheon. Presented by the Weizmann Institute of Science in South Florida, this event commemorates local women who have emerged as leaders in their chosen fields. Her hard work and commitment have been integral to the Signature Grand’s sustained success.

In addition to hosting the Bridal and Quince Show for the past several years, the Signature Grand has been the site of many prominent Broward County Events, including charitable events for non-profit organizations. Distinguished by its Spanish-style design, the sprawling mansion is ideal for fundraisers, wedding receptions, awards ceremonies, galas, and celebrity events. The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation was established in 1971 by a small group of parents of children with diabetes who were committed to finding a cure for this devastating disease.

Bring plenty of copies of your resume printed on quality paper. Even if you do not bring a resume, be certain to have a portfolio or briefcase with notebook or legal pad and pens.

Event: 8th Annual Hispanic Women of Distinction Charity and Awards Luncheon

The annual Hispanic Women of Distinction luncheon was held on Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Signature Grand in Davie Florida.

This auspicious luncheon started with the opportunity for guests and honorees to mingle and sip on complimentary "Mojitos" served with Tapas, and,  view the many silent auction items on display, the proceeds from sales to benefit the March of Dimes. Also guests could purchase raffle tickets for the opportunity to win 2 round-trip Business Class tickets on American Airlines to El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico, the proceeds to benefit ASPIRA of Florida.

In true luncheon tradition, the program started with the parade of former honorees who walked the runway in style and with much enthusiasm.
